Last month, on October 1st, Motion Software CEO Christo Peev took part in an exciting hybrid event. He was one of the speakers at the DIGI PAY conference alongside Bulgaria’s top experts in the field of digital payments.

DIGI PAY is a Conference dedicated to secure and convenient digital payments, for safe and affordable solutions. It’s a unique platform for discussing the trends in the sector of digital payments. The event attracted more than 200 professionals in the fields of banking, fintech and cyber security. This was a hybrid event. It was held in a COVID-compliant environment, ensuring that all participants and audience members were tested or had a green certificate.

During his speech at the event, Mr. Peev touched upon a very important topic:
“The future of decentralized financial services – how to make financial services more secure by avoiding the human factor.”
Christo Peev put an emphasis on why DeFi might be the more secure way. He drew attention to many of its positives; the lack of centralized control or human factor; the lack of limitation of access; transactions and assets being available 24/7; among others.
