ABOUT the job

The key for this position: The candidate should have experience in working with React/NextJS, Java and/or Kotlin, as well as Relational DBs. As the project is fully based on relational blockchain, the person will have to be flexible enough to learn the Rell language in a short period of time. The FE vs BE workload is roughly split in half - Java + Kotlin (50%) and React + Next.js (50%). It is also important to keep in mind that the person should be able to read large amounts of information and write reports on the work conducted. Thus, it should be a profile that would combine a developer with a theory-interested person capable of taking on challenges.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The European Union is looking into creating EU-wide cross-border public services using blockchain technology. To achieve this complex goal, they have established European Blockchain Services Infrastructure and enabled all European blockchain companies to compete to become a part of it. There are three phases in total, and ChromaWay has become the finalist participating in the last phase and presenting its product called Relational Blockchain Nebula (RBN). ChromaWay demonstrated the potential for Relational Blockchain Nebula (RBN) to address two important use cases: Digital Product Passports and Intellectual Property Rights. Phase 2B is about finalizing the use cases and testing the blockchain to prove that we can become THE blockchain for the EU. It is a chance to become a part of the team building THE blockchain that will be used by millions of Europeans in the future.

ABOUT the candidate

- A product-oriented person who understands the process of product development

- Strong backend development experience

- Strong relational databases experience

- Experienced in writing enterprise-level documentation

- Proficient in English (C1-C2 level and higher)

Requirements

- 7+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer

- Languages and frameworks: React/Next, Java and/or Kotlin, SQL, PostgresSQL

- Methods & Processes: Agile Methods, Test-Driven Development

- Experience with testing tools, unit tests, and integration test

- Architecture & platforms: AWS; Google Cloud, Rest, Docker
