ABOUT the job

We are building a multidisciplinary design and development team for a circular economy client. Team is responsible for designing and developing client’s digital channels. This includes both backend development and integration work for client’s backend systems, such as ERP, and frontend development for B2B and B2C customer channels. Agile development and DevOps practices are used in the team. Team has end to end ownership of the products it is developing.

The team works autonomously in close collaboration with customer POs according to agile principles continuously trying to improve the ways of working. The team has a full technology ownership of the services being developed from requirement planning to development and operations.

This is an opportunity for developers eager to take responsibility and proactively push the products and the team forward. If you are interested in modern frontend technologies, AWS cloud environment or complex backend development and want to grow your tech stack in the new areas, this is an interesting project to you!

Current tech stack of the services is:
○ Background services and databases:
■ Scala, Play Framework, MySQL, PostgreSQL

○ Some services (old Legacy) is built with:

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are looking for developers into our existing team developing four B2B and B2C services for a circular economy client. The business drivers for the services improve customer retention, satisfaction and improve the customer service through self-service functionalities. In the future, the goal is to add features enabling up-selling and cross-selling of new services.

ABOUT the candidate

Working as a full-stack developer in the team. Focus on back-end but willingness to work on some tasks here and there on the front-end (with React).

Requirements

● Preferably any JVM language, any of: Scala, Java, Kotlin, C# or F#. Willing to learn Scala is needed!
● React, Typescript (JavaScript)
● AWS
● Experience configuring infrastructure
● CI pipelines

This is a full-time job opportunity, where you’d be working on projects lasting 12 months on average.  At the end of the period, you will be able to continue being a Pro Consultant by getting assigned to another exciting project.
