Senior iOS Engineer

What to expect?
By deploying and utilising leading edge technologies, you will be designing and developing new functionalities for our clients and their patients and will be closely working with our POs and UI/UX Designers.
Your responsibilities:
- Participating in the product development process with a small team of experienced developers
- Helping to design and define architecture, quality standards, and best practices
- You will deliver high quality code and contribute your know-how by the way of code reviews, technical discussions and proof of concept projects as well as coach and onboard new colleagues
- You will enrich our products with your own ideas and give technically sound feedback to POs and UI/UX designers with regard to new features.
Your profile
- 4+ years experience as an iOS developer in a start-up or tech environment whereas a digital healthcare background would be ideal
- Strong and empathetic communicator who has the ability to constructively discuss
- Proficient with Objective-C or Swift {{depending on project requirements}}, and Cocoa Touch
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
- Ability to give and receive feedback
- Creative thinker with the willingness to learn new things
- Focus on team contribution and collaboration
- Studies in IT, Healthcare IT or similar
- Excellent English language skills
