Motion Software CEO Christo Peev is Featured in the October Issue of Forbes

Now that the last quarter is here and with the year-end around the corner, it’s safe to say that 2022 has brought spectacular success for Motion Software.

Some of the things we don’t mind bragging about are being recognized as the “Best Remote Employer” in Bulgaria for 2022, launching new team initiatives and being acquired by Exadel – a global software consultancy and engineering company.

Our Founder and CEO Christo Peev shares more about the exciting news in the latest edition of Forbes Bulgaria.

Christo is regularly sharing remote work tips and tricks through his personal LinkedIn profile.

“Local employer for digital nomads”

Christo, who spends most of his time traveling and practicing water sports, can be just as easily spotted taking a business call from a kayak or his camper porch. He’s happy to provide these opportunities to all of his employees. They work from any location of their choice for some of the coolest tech companies worldwide.

Motion Software currently has offices in 4 countries across the Central and Eastern Europe region and 115 employees working for companies such as Financial Times, Giraffe360, Xapix and others.

To develop a strong remote team of highly-motivated experts, Christo believes it’s essential to establish a shared culture of trust, transparency, and growth opportunities.

“We’re an excellent example of a flat organization. We don’t have managers, but team leaders and clearly defined processes.”

The Acquisition

Since the start of 2022, Christo and the team have been very actively looking for a new investor to allow our product – WhoIsAvailable – to become a truly global remote work platform.

The acquisition from Exadel came at just the right time to expand our portfolio of remote work opportunities across a variety of tech companies.

Before becoming an entrepreneur, Christo Peev was a software engineer. As a matter of fact, he has never stopped coding. However, he doesn’t consider himself a great developer. The skill he treasures most is his ability to identify the clients’ needs and to solve their pain points.

“If you put me together with a software developer, he will write a better and more complex code, but I will make the program quicker because I will find one that already works and package it to solve the specific problem.”
