It’s a wrap for Web Summit 2022 in Lisbon! To say we had an exciting time during the annual technology conference would be an understatement.
Motion Software was in the Portuguese capital for this amazing event. Not only did we get to experience this motivating atmosphere as guests, but we also hosted our very own panel!
Web Summit 2022
Web Summit organizes the world’s largest technology events. Since its founding back in 2009, Web Summit events across the globe have gathered more than half a million people and have inspired countless more. This year’s event alone saw a total of 71 033 attendees from various tech industries in 160 countries, and more startups and investors than ever before.
Star companies’ leaders, futurists, startup entrepreneurs, leaders, decision-makers, and IT visionaries led panel discussions, workshops, and spoke on various topics from data science and deep tech to environmental challenges, women in tech and design. Their discussions shed light on these diverse topics against the broader backdrop of the current uncertain times industries are facing across the board.
Organizers of the event have shared that the event sold out earlier than ever before, and reached its maximum capacity by increasing its space to a staggering 204,386 square meters (1,046 tennis courts).
Motion Software was part of it!
We can never miss such an important tech event. Yet, this time around we had even more to be excited about – we hosted our very own panel! We called it “Bulgaria meets Sweden – collaboration for an innovative future” where Hristo Vatev, Senior Account Manager at Motion Software, together with Zara Zamani, CSO of ChromaWay, discussed how bridging tech hubs creates the best value and how to effectively adjust to rapid changes by embracing new ways of working.
The talk covered points, such as:
- How to uplift the two ecosystems to a higher level
- How successful collaborations can cover identified gaps in each ecosystem/market
- Strategies to embrace the specifics of the Bulgarian and Swedish innovative ecosystems
- The need to develop working strategies to fit remote teams in an unknown environment
The panel was moderated by Izabel Kuzmanova, IT Manager at Motion Software and Erik-Wilhelm Graef Behm, Invest in Halland.
