Montway Auto Transport started out in 2007 and has grown into one of the leading US auto shipping companies. With a network of over 15 000 car carriers, they provide a tailor-made approach to B2C and B2B customers.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Shipper TMS is an enterprise auto transport SaaS platform for shippers and brokers in the US. It is the nerve center of Montway’s entire logistical operation. It deals with the end-to-end management process; starting with quoting customers, processing bookings and maintaining order flow and in-transit updates.

THE PROBLEM

Montway needed to augment an in-house development team to deliver a project quickly. They wanted to avoid the risks and overheads associated with expanding their internal team, and so they approached Motion Software for assistance.

SOLUTION

Motion Software provided a team of 4 senior specialists (2 back-end and two front-end developers), who integrated into Montway’s in-house R & D teams and helped accelerate the project’s delivery. As a result, the project was delivered on a tight deadline. It included automated invoicing and carrier payments, reaching out to the right carriers and online dispatchers, and developing the ability to get updates and generate the best prices.
